When track data is encrypted at the swipe reader, it is only decrypted once—by us—then the data is parsed, formatted, and re-encrypted for submission to the card networks, and ultimately the issuers.
Sensitive cardholder information is separated from other transaction information and stored encrypted in a highly secured and segregated database vault. Only the last four digits of the card number are stored with the transaction, eliminating the risk of stolen full cardholder data.
